Doctor of musical arts in piano performance, completed her degree at Michigan State University and had been studying with Panayis Lyras, the Silver Medalist of 6th Van Cliburn Competition. Ms. SUN earned critical acclaim as a soloist and a chamber musician. She has five global published recordings with Tchaikovsky Competition Silver Medalist S. Bagratuni, Russian cellist F. Amosov, and Truman State University-Venezuela composer Prof. V. Marquez. Presently, Ms. SUN is serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in piano performance and chamber music at National Chiao-Tung (YM-CT) University, National Dong-Hwa University, and The ASHS of National Taiwan Normal University.
Violin|CHANG Chun
Dual doctorate of violin and chamber music in performance in Germany and Austria. In 2009, he was selected as the Young Star of the National Theater & Concert Hall. After returning to Taiwan, he further organized and established the performing arts group "VIO Strings", which is committed to performances. He currently teaches in the Music Departments of National Taiwan Normal University, National Sun Yat-sen University, National Kaohsiung Normal University and Tainan National University of the Arts, dedicated to cultivate and educate a new generation of musicians.
Cello|HOU Jou-an
"Jou-An Hou, a cellist of enormous energy and personal warmth...an extraordinary artist," hailed by Bernard Greenhouse, founding member of Beaux Arts Trio. She has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician throughout Asia, Europe, South Africa, and the United States. HOU holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Cello Performance from the University of Texas at Austin. She has collaborated with such international artists as violinists Olivier Charlier, QIAN Zhou, Ryu Goto, TSENG Yu-chien, Violist HUANG Hsin-yun, pianist Noreen Cassidy-Polera. HOU teaches full time at the Soochow University in Taiwan.
