Venue: Recital Hall
Program
MOZART was truly a rare genius. He excelled at expressing the emotions of theatrical roles, the poetic flavor hidden in poems, and pious and pure religious beliefs, all of which he turned into musical masterpieces. The composer once shared the secret to successful opera writing: "in an opera, the poetry absolutely must be the obedient daughter of the music," meaning the music is the soul of the opera, and it's pivotal to the operatic arts.
MOZART placed music above all else. Regardless of the themes or language of the lyrics, he could always compose the catchiest vocal music, worth listening to and passing on forever. On this special occasion, four outstanding Taiwanese vocalists, LIN Ching-ju, HUANG Li-chin, FAN Ting-yu, Julian LUO, and the pianist HSIEH Hsin-jung, will be presenting the most exciting and clever MOZART vocal music. The repertoire covers opera, arias, sacred music, and other vocal works. There will be two concerts: The Opera Excerpts and The Vocal Works Beyond Opera.
Dear guests, let's meet in MOZART's music at the Weiwuying Recital Hall.
