The multitalented theatre artist Robert Lepage wrote, directs, and stars in this autobiographical one-man show based on his childhood in 60's Quebec City. With the Quiet Revolution in Quebec as the backdrop, this “memory play” traces a period of major political changes and social reform through a personal lens. Lepage’s poetic monologue questions the meaning of personal and collective memories, their relationship to the unconsciousness, and how they shape the identities of a person and a society. Ex Machina, known for its multi-disciplinary productions, created a magical stage set that allow the audience to traverse between the past and the present.
