Kaohsiung's seasoned chamber collective, Counterpoint Ensemble brings a fun eclectic selection from, Edvard Greig, Gustav Holst, Rossini and many more. The celebrations will be featuring renowned tenor Claude Lin and soprano Hsuan-wen Huang in selections from Donizetti's The Elixir of Love.

Hsin-Hung Liu is Weiwuying's organ consultant and one of the rare organist and educator in Taiwan. Liu will be playing two sessions with works from Rachmaninoff, Bach and many French organists as well as his own arrangements of Richard Rodger's ‘Edelweiss’.

The production is staged by British theatre group 1927 known for its humorous cinematic animation setting executed with precision. With more than 350 performances in more than 25 cities, accumulating more than 500,000 audiences, The Magic Flute is finally in Taiwan! This is a chance to catch a glimpse of the famed work in its rare open rehearsal at Weiwuying’s Open House.
