ChiChiao Musical Theatre - Erlang and the Howling Celestial Dog
Erlang and the Howling Celestial Dog, the third work of ChiChiao Musical Theatre's Taiwanese Opera series, will for the first time incorporate 3A game's concept of "new game plus". Through the perspectives of Erlang Shen Yang Jian and the Howling Celestial Dog, the audience is led to explore the characters' inner worlds as well as the outer fantasy world where gods are at war. In the age where humans, gods, and spirits coexist, the audience will accompany the two main characters in exploring themselves and gaining comprehensive insight into the flow of emotions between family members and companions!
While chasing the half dog, half spirit Howling Celestial Dog, Erlang Shen Yang Jian, the god of war, discovered the presence of an oddity in the human world. Thus, human and dog teamed up in an attempt to unveil the truth. Their self-identities undergo a dramatic change while shuttling through the maze of truth; finally, with a mysterious hacker's help, they enter into a dream and solve the riddle, causing total chaos in heaven……

Team introduction
ChiChiao Musical Theatre
The ChiChiao Musical Theatre was founded in Kaohsiung in 2004. The ChiChiao Musical Theatre continues its efforts in creating a dialogue between "tradition" and "innovation." The most characteristic feature of its widely praised works is the fusion of various kinds of opera and music. They create original operas of diversified styles with the aesthetics of the oo-phiat-a (hu-pie-zi) opera of modern times. We hope to see that through their abundant creative energy, lively presentations, and the use of the language of the new generation, it can attract a younger audience to the theater to enjoy this wonderful and diversified performance art to ensure that traditional dramatic culture prospers on this island now and in the future.
