National Symphony Orchestra Fantasia - Family Concert
The melodies that we have listened to growing up always take strong root in our hearts and minds. The incidental music from cartoons we watched during childhood with our parents, and the occasional classical tune we heard on TV are ever fresh in our minds. For Christmas Eve this year, Weiwuying has invited the National Symphony Orchestra's wind orchestra to put on an NSO Fantasia—Family Concert. Conductor CHANG Yin-fang and the members of the orchestra will present a special Christmas version of the concert with well-known classical works, excerpts from The Nutcracker and The Sleeping Beauty, and Christmas carols, creating a warm, fun atmosphere with a sense of home and celebration!
Program
P. I. TCHAIKOVSKY: The Nutcracker in POPS (arr. by Yosuke FUKUDA)
P. I. TCHAIKOVSKY: Valse from The Sleeping Beauty (arr. by Yo KITANO)
