He is working in Tsinghua University. He has performed across Europe, Kanada and in many countries in Asia.Three artists collaborate since longer time together. For this concert they have chosen famous pieces from J. S. Bach and A. Piazzolla. The frame of the concert program consist of the Piazzolla: Four Seasons for trio. Performing this piece with flute, accordion and piano gives it authentic sound, close to Piazzolla's Tango quintet. Accordion sounds like bandoneon and creates expressive style of Argentinian tango music. The Spring from Four Seasons is followed by J.S. Bach: Sonata for Flute and Accordion, g-minor, BWV 1020. Accordion belongs to free reeds music instruments family and is closely related to organ. The combination of flute and accordion is very interesting, sounding like flute and small organs, creating quite interesting baroque feeling. The concert continues with A. Piazolla's Tanti Anni Prima. This is the soundtrack written by Piazzolla for the movie "Enrico IV" (Enrico IV) shot by Italian director Marco Bellocchio in 1984, performed by flute and piano. Libertango is one of the most performed pieces by A. Piazzolla. It is the perfect example of the Tango nuevo style. It is also the piece which was arranged for many different instruments. In the concert you will listen to accordion – piano version. In the second part of the program, you will listen to J.S. Bach Concerto for two harpsichords, BWV1061. Bach was a great virtuoso of the harpsichord. Primoz Parovel and Yawen Chuang will demonstrate the technical possibilities of the accordion and piano. The following piece Escualo by Piazzolla means in translation - shark. Piazzolla loved to go fishing sharks. The piece is full of virtuosic rhythmic elements. It's expressive character made it a challenging piece loved by many performers. After Escualo, Wolfgang Wendel will introduce himself as a composer. Bachianas Piazzollas is composed in the style of Bach for solo flute. Inspired by the Brazilian composer Villa-Lobos's work "Bachianas brasileiras". Wendel tried to collage the music fragments of Bach and Piazzolla to present Piazzolla's contribution to Bach.
