【2024 Weiwuying Children's Festival】The Courageous Adventure with Lulu
"Daddy, Mommy, what's that big and shiny thing up there with so many sticks?"
"Oh, that's a pipe organ."
"What's a pipe organ?"
"Erm…"
Not sure how to explain a pipe organ to your child? Leave it to children's favorite Lulu!
In July, Weiwuying opens its doors to welcome children to the concert hall with lulu leading the way.
Organist YU Hsiao-yi will bring us a show that is perfect for families. From the hopeful, vigorous Praise the Lord with Drums and Cymbals to the organ-trumpet duets, the audience will be treated to a diverse array of music, such as The Prince of Denmark’s March, commonly heard at weddings – including that of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Finally, we will hear the classic Military March No. 1 by SCHUBERT, which is often played at award ceremonies.
This summer, bring your children to the concert hall to experience the charm of the pipe organ for the first time!
