[2024 Taiwan Dance Platform] LIN Yen-ching - On The Way To __ + CHIEN Ching-ying & Issue PARK - Adam & Eve
On The Way To __
When the body is repeatedly facing the same environment, it trickles out from uncertainty, freedom and restriction, forcefully freed.
A Parallel space in time
The balance or unbalance of moving and stillness.
From completely estranged
to meeting the familiar yet again but invisible __
Adam & Eve
The artists used the story of "Adam & Eve" as their research background and transformed it into their own version. From the lenses of the ancient story perspective to see what happens in our human world now. From the first human creation to explore how two bodies start as one and spread into individuality. From unknown and innocent human nature towards the first bite of an apple. In the original story of "Adam and Eve," the bite of an apple causes human's awareness of knowledge, good and bad, and exploring their own sexuality and towards different layers, constantly evolves but ultimately returns to nothingness.
