[2025 Weiwuying International Music Festival] Dezsö RANKI Piano Recital
Hungarian piano master RANKI embodies quiet brilliance. In his youth, he enjoyed international fame as a top musical star, but later limited his travels and recordings, focusing more on himself. Despite this, his skills remain exceptional, with his interpretations growing deeper and more spiritual. His HAYDN is among the finest, combining rich emotion with Classical elegance. As a Schumann Piano Competition winner, his insight into the composer is unparalleled, especially in his interpretation of SCHUMANN's Humoreske, which is full of delicate musical ideas and a wide range of moods. The connection to DEBUSSY of the Hungarian school, meanwhile, has been deep ever since BARTÓK and RANKI's delicately rosy tone especially will bring Images and Children's Corner to life—anticipation is high!
