Judy's Harmonica Ensemble

Founded in 2002, Judy's Harmonica Ensemble is one of the few professional harmonica ensembles in the world, dedicated to exploring the ultimate expression of harmonica ensemble music. Renowned for its exquisite performance techniques and profound emotional interpretations, the ensemble also excels in arrangement and composition, fully showcasing the unique charm of harmonica ensembles. Since its inception, Judy's Harmonica Ensemble has performed over 500 concerts worldwide, with footprints in Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Germany, UK, Sweden, Australia, and Romania. Wherever they perform, the ensemble consistently subverts audiences' traditional perceptions of the harmonica, captivating them with unimaginable musical effects. Additionally, the ensemble has released seven albums to date, further demonstrating its rich achievements in musical creation. Internationally acclaimed harmonica ensemble authority Dror Adler once praised, "I have never seen such a perfect harmonica ensemble. In terms of technique, interpretation, composition, and arrangement, Judy's Harmonica Ensemble represents the pinnacle of harmonica ensemble artistry and elevates it to an entirely new level."

Judy's Harmonica Ensemble has achieved remarkable success in international competitions, setting numerous records: in 2004, they won three championships at the Asia-Pacific Harmonica Festival in Hong Kong; in 2013, at the World Harmonica Festival in Germany—held every four years and regarded as the "Olympics of Harmonica"—they secured the trio championship and second place in the harmonica group category.

In 2016, Judy's Harmonica Ensemble held its first annual concert at Taiwan's National Concert Hall, marking the first harmonica ensemble concert since the establishment of Taiwan's National Performing Arts Center and making them the first harmonica ensemble in Taiwan to perform at the prestigious venue.

The ensemble has garnered significant international attention. In addition to Taiwan's Harmonica Art Festival, they have been repeatedly invited to participate in the Asia-Pacific Harmonica Festival (APHF) and the Seoul International Harmonica Festival (SIHF). In 2017, the ensemble returned to Trossingen, Germany—the harmonica capital of the world—as guest performers and judges at the World Harmonica Festival.

Over its twenty-year history, Judy's Harmonica Ensemble has collaborated with numerous internationally renowned musicians, including Yuko Yanagawa (Japan), the Korea Harmonica Orchestra, Brendan Power (UK), Tony Eyers (Australia), and The Adler Trio (Israel). The ensemble has also partnered with Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture, and Tourism Bureau on multiple occasions, representing Taiwan in cultural promotion and international diplomacy efforts across Southeast Asia, Australia, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
