In Taiwan, scooters are easily seen on the road as the primary form of transportation. It has been a real symbol of the local culture and customs.
When riding, scooters are synchronized with the riders as an extension of human body, which brings vivid sensations of speed, space and flowing scenery.
The moment we squeezed between cars and buses or facing the horns of a dilemma are memorized physically and mentally. All of the experiences accumulate indescribable feelings which not only in body sensing but our inner consciousness may reflect our social status in the world.

Being able to live with four artists in Kaohsiung, observe on their creative process is my blessing as an artist. I hope that through this short film, you can discover how artists absorbed the nutrients of art from Kaohsiung and Weiwuying, and evolved into their works.

In a collaboration between the Taiwan Dance Platform, the Chiayi Intertidal Dance Festival, and the Madrid Choreography Platform, young Spanish and Taiwanese choreographers are invited by us to use the Weiwuying One Minute VR Stage app to film 360-degree panoramic videos of their dances. These recordings will be used to create an astounding on-stage experience at Weiwuying. Taiwanese choreographers are invited to create their dance films in Chiayi and exhibit in Madrid. Through simultaneous screenings across three major platforms in three cities and two countries, watch how these dancers use expressive body movements and dynamic energy to convey the resilience of life in the midst of the pandemic. First edition in 2014 Second edition in 2020
This work mainly elaborates on those uncertain and helpless moments occasionally
happened during the continuing search for the meaning and the position in the journey of the life. Those moments for me are like floating in the infinite ocean, feeling rocked, and seeing no shore. When I deeply feel the sense of floating, often because I cannot find the answer or cannot catch something certain at the moment. Hence, I feel myself like drifting in life. Then the feeling of "pulling", "angry", "contradictory", and "disturbing" cover me at the moments. Therefore, those feelings and emotions stimulate me on the movement to find and develop physical dynamic response. Water-related scenes are largely used in the picture. Also, through the montage editing techniques, we try to depict the psychological state of "drifting".
